Jim Luce brings 24 years management experience within investment banking and the non-profit sector. As Founder & C.E.O. of Orphans International Worldwide, he is working with a strong network of committed professionals to build interfaith, interracial, Internet-connected orphanages in Indonesia, and Haiti and exploring new projects for AIDS orphans in West Africa. In pursuit of a better world he has left corporate America – twice – testified in Congress, and helped raise over $1.2 million in cash, services and gifts-in-kind for the unfortunate.  He speaks often at the United Nations, and has been honored twice by the U.S. Congress.

Jim holds an East Asian Studies degree from the College of Wooster, and studied at Waseda University, Tokyo, Centro de Estudiar Colombino-Americano (Bogotá), and through AFS at Max-Plank Gymnasium ( Bielefeld, Germany).  He has served as a New York State-licensed foster father and an officer of his local PTA.
